Honey-Mustard Burgers with Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef extra lean
  • 48 asparagus
  • 2 cups lettuce leaves
  • 2 cups green onions, sliced
  • 4 tbsp Ideal Protein Honey & Dijon Dressing
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, coarsely grounded
  • sea salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Combine ground beef, 2 tablespoons honey-mustard dressing, 1 teaspoon oregano, green onions and pepper, mixing lightly but thoroughly.
  2. Divide beef mixture into 4, 1/2-inch thick patties, 4” in diameter.
  3. Heat large heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Pan-broil patties 7 to 8 minutes, turning once.
  5. Blanch asparagus in salted, boiling water.
  6. Plate the lettuce leaves, drizzle with dressing.
  7. Top with hamburger and garnish side with asparagus and dressing.
