Sweet and Sour Turkey

This recipe offers two methods of cooking: crock-pot and oven. Choose the method that best suits you! You’ll be sure to enjoy this meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs turkey breast
  • 1 tsp chicken stock
  • 6 cups green peppers, cubed
  • 2 cups green onions, cubed
  • 2 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp cilantro, chopped fine
  • 1 cup sweet onion dressing
  • 1 cup orange spread, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions

  1. Crock Pot Method:

    Arrange vegetables at the bottom of crock-pot.

  2. Place turkey on top of vegetables.
  3. Combine all other ingredients in a bowl and pour over turkey.
  4. Cover crock-pot and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
  5. Oven Method:

    Arrange vegetables at the bottom of a greased baking dish.

  6. Add turkey on top.
  7. Combine all other ingredients and pour over turkey.
  8. Cover pan tightly with foil.
  9. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
