Inside Sales Representative (Business Development Representative)

The Inside Sales representative will be responsible for leveraging effective sales tactics to action both colds calls and warm leads in targeted markets within the medical and pharmaceutical community based in the Untied States. The employee will be responsible for managing lead generation efforts, qualifying prospective customers, and deliver webinar presentations to potential clinic partners. In addition, manage and nurture opportunities to ensure forward progression through the sales process for Ideal Protein of America and the home office in Canada.

The employee must be self-motivated, driven and able to work in a fast paced, energetic environment. They must posses the willingness to drive results with a winning attitude and relentless want for success for Ideal Protein of America Inc and the home office in Canada.

Primary duties and responsibility:

  • Be a brand ambassador for Ideal Protein
  • Facilitate market and brand research to ensure a productive cold call
  • Cold calling and lead generation over the telephone
  • Complete webinar presentations to prospective clinic partners
  • Manage and nurture generation pipeline leads and opportunities in a specified region
  • Follow up with leads generated by various marketing programs, events etc.
  • Work with partners to identify new prospective clients
  • Ensure forward progression of opportunities through the sales process
  • Adhere to business development key performance indicators, standards and procedures of Ideal Protein
  • Analyze and determinate the opportunity of sales
  • Produce reports for the Ideal Protein business development team
  • Execute other related tasks may be requested by Ideal Protein from time to time

  • Education or training in related field.


  • 1 to 3 years of sales experience in an inside sales/demand generation role.
