Current Weight:142 lbs
I had slowly gained weight over the years. I had been on blood pressure medicine for years and was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in 2009. In January of 2017, I decided to join the program to lose weight before my 60th birthday which was in August of 2017. After 2 months on the program my doctor directed me to stop taking the blood pressure medicine. In August of 2017, I reached my goal and the doctor removed the diagnosis of Type II Diabetes from my medical chart.
"I'm proud that I committed to my Amazing Transformation because I feel more confident about myself than I ever have before. I feel capable of doing anything I set my mind to now because of my success with my weight loss with Ideal Protein. I look forward to staying healthy and active during all of the years to come. "
Lifestyle Building - Losing the weight
I was surprised at how energized, healthy and strong I felt during the weight loss transition. There was plenty of IP food I found delicious and satisfying and the program introduced me to a new passion for vegetables.
Lifestyle Living - Keeping the weight off
With the weight loss I mostly enjoy my abundance of increased energy. I no longer need to arrange events or activities around when I might need a nap. I didn't realize how tired my extra weight made me feel until I lost the weight. I have gotten many projects completed around the home that I have put off for years and I am more confident doing physical activities outdoors such as kayaking and hiking.
