Being a post menopausal, empty nester mom, I found myself gaining weight more rapidly. I thought my diet was healthy, so I figured I needed to increase my activity level so I became a fitness instructor. To my surprise, I gained about 20 pounds the first year and it wasn't due to muscle mass. Then a personal trainer friend of mine introduced me to the Ideal Protein Protocol. According to my fabulous coach Coco, I just needed to tweak a few things with my healthy diet once I completed Phase 1. Within three months I lost 15 pounds and felt more energetic than I had in years. I became so passionate about the protocol that I became an Ideal Protein Coach myself!!

I was most surprised that I was able to have success. On my own, I always gained 5 pounds and then lost only 3, giving me a net gain of two pounds per year. People attribute such things to age, but I refuse to give in to that excuse anymore!!
