I have been a "bigger" person my entire life. The last 10 years have by far been the worst. I had a failed Lap-Band in 2009 and had to have it removed. Ever since, I have slowly gotten bigger and bigger. My motivation was a family trip coming up in 2019 and a trip I just returned home from. I love to fly, other than trying to fit into the airplane seat! As a 6' 2" person, it is challenging due to height, even more so when I'm morbidly obese. I want to be able to keep up with my nephews and niece on our family vacation in February 2019, so it was time to do something now, instead of later.

Lifestyle Building - Losing the weight
My mindset changed somewhere along the way and I now see food differently. I eat to fuel my body, not because I'm bored, stressed, or upset. I don't crave or desire unhealthy food.
Lifestyle Living - Keeping the weight off
I enjoy my life. I'm happy to be able to go out in public and not be anxious that people are looking at me or commenting about my size when I walk past them. I enjoy playing with my nephews and niece. I enjoy going to the gym. I mostly enjoy the fact that I'm happier, have less pain, and I'm looking forward to the future.
