I’ve been heavy since age 8. I was 200lbs by the 8th grade (age 13). I’ve suffered from depression which started in middle school. I was one of two obese children in my class at that time and was teased a lot. My heaviest was 287lbs in college. I’ve tried several diets throughout my life. I’ve never been successful in losing the weight. My highest achievement was 20lbs which I gained back and then some. Graduating with a doctorate, I was embarrassed to be so heavy as I felt a lack of confidence in myself and feared colleagues would view me as unintelligent because of how I looked and my inability to control my weight. I did very well during pregnancy but gained 25lbs the first year after my son was born. I was tired and unhappy. One day when I dropped Jude off at daycare I noticed my friend dropping off her daughter and she looked amazing! She had lost quite a bit of weight, was energetic and happy! I immediately wanted what she had. I wanted to be happy and energetic. I asked how she was so successful and she told me about Ideal Protein. I had a consult in a matter of a week and was on my way to a wonderful journey of own!

Success with Ideal Protein is easy when you follow the program! I rarely feel hungry, the food tastes great, and the variety of food options has a lot to offer to everyone. I pick and choose foods based on my family’s plans so I can fit in with everyone else. I can have chips when they do or a brownie when they do. I’m not excluded from social gatherings because I can bring my foods along. The success on the scale and inches lost keeps me motivated to keep going!

The protocol has helped ensure I eat at regular intervals, has reset my taste buds and stomach, and taught me portion control. I only usually get hungry if I’ve waited too long to eat. It’s reset my thought process and emotional attachment to and around food. This program has allowed me to find emotional growth through other avenues and that food doesn’t fix the problem at hand.
