I woke the morning after Christmas of 2017 with no feeling in my fingertips. I had enjoyed the holidays and all the food and sweets to the point my blood sugar was over 400. Dr. Purifoy had tests run and my A1C was 11.6. My blood pressure was out of control and my liver enzymes were extremely elevated. I knew I had to do something to turn my health around. He suggested the Ideal Protein protocol and I talked with his wife, the Ideal Protein coach Brenda. I joined on Valentine's day and never looked back. In 3 months I was off my diabetic, blood pressure and heartburn medication. My A1C dropped to 5.6. In 6 months I lost over 100 pounds, and in 8 months I reached my goal of losing 120 pounds. I have been in maintenance for two months and remain at my target weight of 200 pounds. I have joined a gym and started running again. I plan on running in a local 5k in June. I am prescription free, fat free, and care free thanks to Ideal Protein, Dr. Purifoy and my Ideal Protein coach Brenda Purifoy of course!

Lifestyle Building - Losing the weight
Staying with the protocol was rather easy. The Ideal Protein items were tasty and satisfying and I learned that I like vegetables! I even tried ones that I have never heard of. I was never hungry and the weight just fell off. I went from size 44 pants to size 32.
Lifestyle Living - Keeping the weight off
My self esteem is back in full force. I have so much energy. I enjoy shopping for clothes, something I dreaded before because it was hard to find anything that fit. My last A1C reading was 4.8 and I am no longer considered a diabetic. But most of all, I am proud that through my transformation I have touched other people who are fighting diabetes and obesity. They have seen my success and have decided to join the protocol as well.
