I have been dieting for 30 years, most were successful initially, and none were successful long-term. I decided that I really couldn’t be successful by myself and needed help. My cardiologist suggested Ideal Protein and I checked out their guiding principles, the science behind their solutions, the after-care process and checked out what I needed to make a longer-term decision. I waited until after my holidays and then took the plunge to try the diet system. I had given my word to the cardiologist that I would try it and did not want to continue the slow decline of my health for the next few years.

The journey was initially similar to all of the diets I had tried, same voices, same messages and same claims. At about the 3rd or 4th week, I woke up to the realization that I was not hungry and was not dying to eat. Frankly, I thought that I might just be getting sick or catching a virus of some sort.
Lifestyle Living - Keeping the weight off
I guess I really enjoy putting on my seat belt of my car, not having to inhale or fake wearing it. I enjoy some of the smaller things: tying my shoes; buying clothing from regular stores; planning what to eat rather than just eating everything; putting on my socks; sitting in a regular chair; not being stared at for being so heavy; I like ordering at a restaurant and not asking for extra sour cream or extra butter. I like myself a whole lot better.
