My introduction to Ideal Protein began in the fall of 2010. I had been looking into the Ideal Protein Protocol for months and was interested, but skeptical. I had been searching for something to assist me as I was unable to sustain any weight loss despite trying most low calorie and fad diets over the “25 years” that I had been trying to lose “25 pounds”. It seemed I had a set point that my body kept wanting to go back to. I was very active working as a Nurse and teaching yoga classes. I was eating a balanced diet and with an active exercise program I was at a loss on what to do. After losing 25 pounds and feeling on top of the world both physically and mentally I made a phone call to Ideal Protein to see about starting my own Ideal Protein business. I took a leap of faith and resigned from my position in the Mental Health Community Health Centre and took on a new persona as a business woman, networker and healthy lifestyle advocate. I am now a consultant for Ideal Protein and my amazing Ideal Protein story continues.

Lifestyle Building - Losing the weight
What surprised me most was how easy it was to follow, I was not hungry and the increased energy that I had. I was worried that I couldn't have a glass of wine with friends but after a week or so it wasn't an issue…I did not need it and did not feel deprived.
Lifestyle Living - Keeping the weight off
One of my passions is the practice of Yoga. The poses are easier and with the weight loss I feel much more connected to my body. I enjoy educating others about the protocol and sharing my "secret" with them. I love that it is not so difficult to decide what to wear when everything fits and I am not trying to cover up :)
