I am stress eater and chocolate and stress are my triggers. Also my family and I ate out a lot during the week. This resulted in my weight reaching the highest it had ever been. Diabetes runs in my family and my A1C number put me in the realm of pre-diabetic. In addition, I experienced higher frequency of reflux as I often ate late a night then went to bed (bad practices). As my weight climbed to new heights, my behaviors did not. I had never been on a diet before but when my Primary Care Physician mentioned Ideal Weight Loss program, I decided to sign up and see if it worked. I was elated to learn that there was a clinic near my house and Chloe was an awesome coach! Chloe encouraged me when I did not think I could go through with it and was one of my biggest cheerleaders throughout the journey. It really helps to have an accountability partner and fantastic cheerleader when you embark upon this type of journey, especially if this is your first time trying something like this.

Lifestyle Building - Losing the weight
It taught me how to better recognize my eating habits and select better choices. Another eye-opener was grocery shopping as I noticed a switch to essentially focus on external aisles (produce and water sections) and skipped the internal aisles. Another surprise was recognizing how much sugar I had in my pre-program diet.
Lifestyle Living - Keeping the weight off
I most enjoy my improved health stats. My A1C number returned to normal since I made my lifestyle changes, I learned how to eat better to sustain the weight loss, and I have clothes galore to donate! I also enjoy returning to clothes I could not wear at the heavier weight, including button downs blouses! Previously, button downs gaped too much so I stopped wearing them. In addition, I returned to shopping at my favorites stores that carried my new size. The transformation was amazing and although I was determined to follow the program, I initially was not sure it would really work. To my pleasant surprise, it not only worked, it exceeded all of my expectations. My husband and I celebrated with a trip to Hawaii and I bought cute swim wear and other clothing that I would have never attempted to wear at my heavier weight. I absolutely love the new me!
