My back pain had manipulated my every move since 2000 when I blew it out after 16 years as a parachutist in the military. I was headed for my 3rd spinal surgery at an extremely accelerated rate according to my surgeon because my weight was contributing so significantly to disc failure. I struggled to regulate my activity and diet, yo-yo-ing between doing too much or too little. I've had to have a series of sinus surgeries and hernia repairs, and I grew more and more uncomfortable. My chiropractor here, Dr. John, helped get me pointed to Ideal Protein to finally handle business effectively.

The side effects apart from the scale dropping have been terrific. I stopped snoring within days of starting the program which was obviously a huge relief for my wife. I actually LIKE myself again :) Due to the weight loss I've been able to come off high blood pressure medication and decrease cholesterol meds. I can wear clothes I wore 17yrs ago. I have regained strength, endurance, and confidence I feared was gone forever. My physical therapist for my back is so impressed by how much better I'm doing. My pain has reduced from chronic and life-altering to occasional and minimally restrictive. I previously had debilitating episodes; now if I have some pain, I am able to just stretch and work it out. In getting my weight under control and core strengthened, I went from being unable to sit up without assistance to planking for 9 minutes at a time.
