I have always been very active. I have completed 6 marathons, coached my son's baseball team as well as umpire youth baseball but over the past 3 years, I slowly stopped eating as healthy as I had in the past and started working out less. Of course, I started to gain weight. In April 2018, I was on a weeklong business trip and one morning I was getting dressed and I could barely button my dress shirt. I looked at myself in the mirror and said enough is enough. No more excuses!! I also knew I needed some help to get back to a healthy weight. I did some research and decided to meet with Amy Baker at LastDietATX and start my journey on the Ideal Protein Protocol.

I was surprised how much fat I lost without working out. I lost very little muscle, but I lost a tremendous amount of fat. What also surprised me was just how easy it was to follow the Protocol. If you follow the Protocol and leverage your weight loss coach you will see amazing results.
Lifestyle Living - Keeping the weight off
What I enjoy the most now that I have lost the weight is how amazing I feel. I feel so good both physically and mentally. I wake up every morning feeling good and I do not feel exhausted at the end of the day. I am back training for another marathon and my goal is to qualify for the Boston Marathon. I have not felt this good during my training runs in years. I have not been this lean since high school, which for me was 31 years ago.
