During a stressful time in my life, I chose to comfort myself with food, especially sugar. I packed on the pounds pretty quickly and felt tired, achy and depressed most of the time. I tried many diets but nothing I tried was very well planned or offered the support I needed. I usually quit because I wouldn't see results fast enough. I was beginning to think there was no hope for me.

The transformation of my body was most surprising. I wasn't just losing weight, I was losing fat! It was so visually obvious very quickly and I was watching the pounds literally melt away.

Now I know how to eat. I may not be perfect all of the time, but I know how the knowledge, wisdom and skills to keep the weight off. If I ever need to re-visit IP, I always can. A yearly re-set is definitely what keeps me where I want to be.
