The before photo explains most of the why. I didn't like the way I looked or felt. I didn't want to continue down the road to the big (bigger) belly club and ever-worsening health. I wanted to be able to actively play with my kids and grandkids, not to be the old guy on the couch that was no fun. Exercise hadn't been the answer, I have damaged knees, so running was not an option and even walking hurt. So, what to do? Amy helped me with that decision. She showed me how and why this diet works. The diet is based on science, facts, it's not just some fad promoted by a celebrity.

Lifestyle Building - Losing the weight
How soon I started losing weight, it took about a week for results. Then, that it only took a couple of months to get to my desired weight goal. I was also surprised that my knees hurt less, I still can't run, but I can comfortably walk for 5 plus miles! At my last annual check-up, my Doctor reduced my BP medication, 100mg. to 25mg.
Lifestyle Living - Keeping the weight off
I have the energy and endurance to do what I want when I want to. I think I look better, I know I feel better. I have a longer view, health wise and feel like I have extended my chances for the healthy, active lifestyle we all desire. I am definitely not going to be the boring old guy on the couch.
